After a day out in the sun on a boat, some of the boys were a bit unsure about heading back out to brave the Caribbean Seas. At 7AM the day of the wedding the boys all piled in to a car the size of a VW Beetle and there were seven of us strapping young lads! I enjoyed the ride with the gearshift in my bum and Steve was going to need a chiropractor to fix his neck.
We were all very glad to get out of the car and onto the boat. The ship and its crew were solid but the fishing gods were not with us this morning.
Ty was a little trooper but unfortunately spent most of the trip over the starboard side of the ship.
After four hours of talking, trying different baits, following seaweed drifts, and having the captain take snorkeling gear and just stick his head off the side of the boat, all we had caught was a few six-packs of Red Stripe.
The boat dropped us off at Ricks Cafe so we could walk back to Tensing Pen and avoid any further spinal trauma. As it turned out Ricks wasn't open yet and after enjoying some high-diving entertainment from some locals, we had to sweet-talk our way to have the security guard let us out of the locked gates.
